CardSwitcher Privacy Policy

CardSwitcher is operated by My Card, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes what data the CardSwitcher iOS app and App Clip collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Phone number — entered by you during sign-in. Stored only on your device (in iOS UserDefaults) so you stay signed in across launches.
• Email address — entered by you during sign-in. Stored only on your device for the same reason.
• A derived user identifier — a one-way SHA-256 hash of your phone number, sent to our backend so that Knot (our merchant-connectivity provider) can associate your linked merchant accounts with a stable ID. We do not send your raw phone number or email to our backend.

What Knot collects

When you link a merchant account inside the app, you authenticate directly with that merchant through the Knot SDK. Knot processes your merchant credentials and any card data you provide. Knot's privacy policy applies to that processing: https://www.knotapi.com/privacy/.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not store your phone number, email, or merchant credentials on our servers.

Deleting your data

Tap Settings → Delete my data inside the app to remove your phone and email from the device. Because we do not keep a server-side record keyed to you, clearing the device is the deletion.
